Portfolio Menu

Use the Portfolio menu in the portfolio work area to access the services available in your portfolio.

Notices

• Unresolved:The notices representing documents that could not be accepted into the workspace due to conflicts. For more information, see "About the Unresolved Register".

Applications

• Analytics:Launches Proliance Analytics, a powerful reporting tool that works with IBM Cognos® to create reports that encompass an entire portfolio of workspaces.

Workspaces and Projects

• Workspaces:Lists all the workspaces that are managed by this portfolio. Depending on your security permission and the state of a workspace, you can view the details of a workspace. For more information, see "About Workspace Properties".
• Projects:Lists all the projects that exist within the portfolio. Depending on your security permission and the state of a workspace, you can view the details of a project. For more information, see "About Projects".

• Budget & Cost:

  Note: None of the Budget/Cost Management registers will appear on the interface if BCM integration has been disabled in the workspace. For more information, see "Enabling/Disabling BCM Integration".

  • Cost Accounts: Enables you to easily maintain the list of cost accounts that belong to your workspace. For more information, see "About Cost Accounts".
  • Scope Documents: Enables you to hand off multiple budget allocations to multiple cost accounts. For more information, see "About Scope Documents".
  • Transfer Documents: Enables you to track budget and cost transfers between cost accounts in your workspace. For more information, see "About Transfers".
  • Cashflow: Displays the expected expenses for one or more cost periods within a workspace. For more information, see "About Cashflow Documents".

• Contract Management:

  Expense/Revenue

  • Contracts: Every Proliance workspace has two Contracts registers, one for revenue contracts and one for expense contracts. Each Contracts register enables you to easily maintain the list of contracts that belong to your workspace. For more information, see "About Contracts".
  • Change Orders: Contains expense or revenue change orders for contracts that belong to your workspace. For more information, see "About Change Orders".
  • Invoices: Enables you to maintain the list of invoices against your workspace's contracts. For more information, see "About Invoices".
  • Invoice Packages: Enables you to group several invoices into a single package, for more efficient invoicing. For more information, see "About Invoice Packages".
  • Payment Logs: Displays records of payments against invoices once the payments have been created using your company's payroll system. For more information, see "About Payment Logs".

  Change Control

  • Cost Events: Contains a list of cost event documents representing items that need to be bought or sold. For more information, see "About Cost Events".
  • Instructions: Contains a list of instruction documents with specific information, requests or notifications on a task or document. For more information, see "About Instructions".
  • Quotes: Contains a list of your workspace's quotes with proposed prices, the quantity of materials or the scope of work. For more information, see "About Quotes".
• Field Management:
  • Daily Work Journal: Contains information from your daily records, such as weather conditions and equipment usage. For more information, see "About Daily Work Journal Documents".
  • Daily Work Journal Sets: Contains collections of daily work journal documents. For more information, see "About Daily Work Journal Sets".
  • Deficiency List: Contains information about defects in your workspace and the resolution process. For more information, see "About Deficiencies".
• Office Management:
  • Correspondence: Contains a record of correspondence exchanged within the current workspace, such as important telephone calls or faxes impacting work. For more information, see "About Correspondence".
  • Drawings: Contains drawings used in the current workspace, such as floor plans, blueprints or other illustrations. For more information, see "About Drawings and Submittals".
  • Drawing Packages: Contains collections of drawings in the current workspace that require review. For more information, see "About Drawing/Submittal Packages".
  • Management Plans: Contains all the plans, forms, and templates used for quality management in the current workspace. For more information, see "About Management Plans".
  • Meeting Minutes: Contains meeting minutes related to the current workspace. For more information, see "About Meetings".
  • RFIs: Contains the documents that contain a question and an answer on a particular issue. For more information, see "About RFIs".
  • RFI Issues: Contains all the issues that are discussed and the RFI documents created for each issue. For more information, see "About RFI Issues".
  • Submittals: Contains submittals used in the current workspace which require review and approval from workspace stakeholders. For more information, see "About Drawings and Submittals".
  • Submittal Packages: Contains collections of submittals used in the current workspace that require review. For more information, see "About Drawing/Submittal Packages".
  • Transmittals: Contains transmittals used in the current workspace representing items circulated for review that do not require approval. For more information, see "About Transmittals".

• Scheduling:Contains features used to coordinate the timing and tasks in your workspace. For more information, see "About Scheduling".

• File Management:Contains catalog cards, which represent external files or materials used in the your workspaces. For more information, see "About File Management".

File Management

• Content Management:Contains the links to the different content management sites, providing that you have defined the site for the particular work area you are currently in. For more information, see "About Content Management".

Reports

• External Reports:Contains reports created with third-party tools. For more information, see "About External Reports".

Address Book

• Companies:Contains companies associated with the current portfolio. For more information, see "About Companies".

• Contacts:Contains contacts associated with the current portfolio. For more information, see "About Contacts".

Administration

• Portfolio / Workspace Configuration:
  • Custom Print Layouts: Contains custom layout files used for printing document or register reports. For more information, see "About Custom Print Layouts".
  • Lookup Lists: Contains all the lookups available in either the portfolio or in managed workspaces. For more information, see "About Lookup Management".
  • Security: Contains the security features in Proliance such as roles, categories and company roles. For more information, see "About Security".
