About RFI Issues

An RFI Issue describes in greater detail the topic that is being discussed in an RFI. Linking RFI Discussions that share a common theme to an RFI Issue enables you to organize the information more efficiently. When you open an RFI Issue, you can view all the questions and answers that pertain to the same discussion.

• Open the RFI Issues register.

You can attach any number of RFI discussions to an RFI Issue; however, you can only link an RFI discussion to one RFI Issue.

An RFI Issue's information is grouped under the following pages:

• Main: Provides a general description of the RFI, a list of linked RFI discussions, and a summary of their cost, schedule and classification impact. For more information, see "RFI -Main".
• Properties: Shows who created the document, when they created it, and why they created it. For more information, see "Document Properties".

Additional RFI information is also available on the following tab:

• Project: Lists the projects the document is linked to. For more information, see "About the Projects Tab"

• Workflow: Enables you to see where the document is in its lifecycle, who has already performed actions on the document, and who will receive notification when the document changes to a specific state. For more information, see "About the Workflow Tab".
• Activity Log: Records all the activities of the RFI Issue, such as when it was saved, imported, exported, forwarded, or received. For more information, see "Activity Log Tab".
• Attachments: Contains a list of all the documents related to this RFI Issue. For more information, see "Attachments Tab".
