About Quotes

Quotes are used to send proposals for materials or work. A quote may include the proposed price, the quantity of materials, or the scope of a work. They may be sent in response to a received instruction and may be associated with a cost event.

• Open the Quotes register.

All quote documents are listed in the Quotes register.

Information about a quote is grouped under the following pages:

• Main: Contains detailed information on the quotes, including the document's number. For more information, see "Quote - Main".
• Financial Summary: Provides you with a summary of the line item totals. For more information, see "Quote - Financial Summary".
• Tax Summary: Contains all the committing and non-committing taxes used in this workspace. For more information, see "Quote - Tax Summary".
• Line Items: Shows detailed list of all the items that are discussed in this quote. For more information, see "Quote - Line Items".
• Settings: Details the markup values and cost settings of this quote document. For more information, see "Quote - Settings".
• Properties: Contains information about the Quotes document, such as who created it and when it was created. For more information, see "Document Properties".
