Deleting a Quote

Delete any quotes that are no longer used in your workspace. Your security role must have permission to delete quotes. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

You may delete a quote only while it is in the Draft or Canceled states.

When you delete a canceled quote, an instruction or cost event's reference to the quote are removed. Also, the cost event values obtained from a quote are set to "0".

You can delete a cost event from either of the following places:

• From the register: Use this method to quickly delete several cost events at once.
• From the document: Use this method when you need to verify the cost event before deleting it.

 To delete a quote

1. Open the Quotes register .
2. Select the check box next to the quotes to delete, then click Delete.

Select the quote to delete, then click Delete .

3. Proliance prompts you to confirm the deletion.
4. Click Yes to confirm.

Proliance removes the quote.
