Holds Tab

The Holds tab appears if the current document either has a hold placed against it, or is being used as a source document to drive a hold.

This tab lists the holds that have been placed against the document. You can do the following:

To view details about a hold, click anywhere in the row.
To create a new hold against the document, click New. For more information, see "Holds - Main".
To remove a hold, select the check box next to the hold and then click Delete.

This tab lists the holds in which the current document was identified as the source document. You can do the following:

To view details about a hold, click anywhere in the row.
To create a new hold using the document as the source, click New. For more information, see "Holds - Main".
To remove the document as a source for a hold, click the check box next to the hold and then click Delete. Note that removing a source document does not affect any of the held documents—they continue to be held according to the rules defined for the hold.
