About Plans

Plans are the central documents in the Management Plans feature in Proliance. Each plan revision provides a structure where the progression of forms for the stage are stored. Each time a stage is repeated or another state is initiated, a new plan is created. The new plan has a series type relationship with the previous plan. As a plan progresses through its stages, revisions are created for the forms within that stage. Each plan has predefined stages that show which forms must be approved before the stage or the milestone is considered complete.

A workspace may have any number of different plans running concurrently, each addressing a different topic and/or area of the workspace.

A Preconstruction Plan, Management Plan, and Review Plan can all be running at the same time on a workspace. For ease of distribution, these plans could be part of the  plans within the plan package Design/Build.

Use the plan package to create the first stage of a plan. For example, select the Design/Build plan package and then apply all three plans at once.

Plans are created from within a workspace, using Standard plans which originated from the organization. Once created, you can customize the plans for that workspace.

Each revision of a plan represents one stage of the overall plan. When a stage is complete, you can repeat the stage or move to the next stage.
