Customizing a Plan
After you have created
plans, you can customize them for the workspace. You can do any of the following
while customizing plans:
- Specify stage managers: You can choose the Managing Company
and the Managing Contact responsible
for managing a particular stage in the plan. This contact is responsible
for all the forms in a stage. You can assign
the same or different managing contact for each stage of the plan. For
more information, see "Plan - Stages".
- Add forms to the current stage: When Proliance created the plans, it used the template
forms defined in the template plans
as a starting point. During customization, you can add forms to a stage
as necessary. You can only add forms that are within the workspace. If the
external file required for a stage isn't already in Proliance, create
a new form. For more information,
see "Adding Forms to a Plan".
- Remove forms from current stage: You can remove any form that is not marked Required
from a stage. For more information, see "Removing
Forms from a Plan".
- Turn off the summary clip: If a summary clip has been defined
for a form, you can "turn off" the use of this clip. For more
information, see the Revision Information
section of "Form - Main",
under the setting Is Summary Clip Required.
- Specify completion dates for the stages: You can enter completion dates for each stage in the plan. These dates
help you determine whether the workspace is proceeding according to the
plan. For more information, see "Plan
- Stages".
