The Anticipated Cost Report (ACR) enables you to view the workspace's budget, cost, billings, and invoice information at a glance. The ACR displays as a collapsible grid where each row represents a user-definable summary with subtotals.
Each ACR column shows the subtotal of a specific type of cost, budget or invoicing allocation. Columns in yellow are calculated based on a formula derived from the columns in white.
Values in the ACR are hyperlinked to a list of their controlling line items, displayed in the Line Item Detail Viewer. Using this dialog, you can export to Excel.
Note: Due to limitations in Excel, date, time and currency values may not appear in Excel as they do in Proliance. Where a user has chosen a date/time format that uses the Gregorian calendar in My Preferences, date and time values are rendered in Excel as the following:
Where a user has chosen a date/time format that uses the Umm-al-Qura calendar, date and time values are rendered in Excel as the Umm-al-Qura calendar year, and AM/PM displays in Arabic characters. Currency separators appear in Excel according to Region and Language defaults in Windows. |
Use the ACRs register to create and manage ACR views that contain different data and layouts. Available from the ACRs register, you can use the Register View dialog to create and modify your own views:
Information in the ACR is drawn from allocation line items that are associated with the following Proliance documents:
For each allocation line item, you can specify the ACR column in which it displays. You can set ACR columns individually, set a default ACR column, or set the ACR column for allocations in the Approved state.
In workspace ACRs, the number of decimal places displayed for currency values is determined by the Currency Precision setting for the base currency of the workspace.
The ACR excludes the following:
When projects are enabled for a workspace, information presented in an ACR may be limited by project access rules. For example, if a user has Restrict to projects permissions set in their Contact document, data included in all their ACR views will be limited to data from the projects to which they have links.
Special Considerations for Portfolio ACRs
When you view the ACR from the Portfolios work area, the report shows aggregate values from all the workspaces' ACRs within the portfolio. If the portfolio and workspaces use different currencies, Proliance converts the workspace amounts using the Conversion Rate to Portfolio defined for the workspace currency.
At the portfolio level, the number of decimal places for currency values displayed in the ACR and ACR reports are determined by user preferences set on the Content Formatting tab of the My Preferences dialog.
Cost Account information shown in the ACR
The following columns of cost account information may be displayed on the ACR, depending on the selected ACR view:
