Register Views - Grouping

ACR register views are defined using the Register Views dialog that displays when you click Manage ACR views in the ACRs register. Within the Register View dialog, the Grouping tab displays when you are working with ACR views.

Use the Grouping tab to specify the manner in which allocation information is grouped in the ACR. For example, if you choose to group the ACR by Cost Account, Proliance creates a separate row for the information from each cost account. Rows of the ACR may be organized into expandable and collapsible groups. You can expand the groups of rows by clicking the Expand Row icon Expand Row icon., or collapse them by clicking the Collapse Row icon Collapse Row icon..

The following grouping items are available on the Grouping tab of the Register Views dialog:

FullCode: Aggregates the selected code with the codes above it in the hierarchy.

Code: Uses the code on its own, regardless of its position in the hierarchy.

ClosedTo specify the grouping information for the ACR

  1. From the list on the left, select an information item by which you want to group the information on the ACR.
  2. Click the right arrow The right arrow..
  3. The information item appears in the list on the right.

  4. If necessary, change the grouping sequence by selecting an information item from the list on the right and clicking the up arrow The up arrow.or the down arrow The down arrow. to reposition the information item.
  5. The first information item on the list represents the highest level group on the ACR. The last information item on the list represents the lowest level group on the ACR.

  6. Click Save to save your changes, and then click Apply to apply your changes to the ACR.
  7. The new groups appear on the ACR.
