Proliance registers contain a list of documents from the same type. For example, the Notices register lists all of a workspace's notices. The Portfolios register lists all of an organization's portfolios, their names and their statuses. The columns on a register displays the basic details of the documents at a glance. You can also change your register's current view.
Registers provide you with tools for sorting and filtering the documents displayed in the list. You can also search for specific information within a register.
All document registers in Proliance provide a standard set of tools for managing the register.
| Button | Functionality |
|---|---|
|
New |
Create a new document using the default subtype. If more than one document subtype is available for the register, and you have the appropriate permissions assigned to your security role, an arrow symbol appears to the right of the New button. Click the arrow to choose the document subtype to create. |
|
Delete |
Delete a document from the register. |
| Sharing |
Share the selected documents with contacts at a specified company. Sharing allows contacts at the selected company to access the document, but does not send them a notice that they have access. You can also unshare the document with selected companies, revoking access rights for contacts at those companies for the selected documents. Only users with 'Unshare documents' permissions can unshare documents. For more information, see "Sharing and Unsharing Multiple Documents". |

Print the current register. |
| Export | Export the register list to Microsoft Excel. |
| Refresh | Refresh the data displayed in the register to reflect the latest changes. |
| Help | Display the online Help topic for the register. |
| View | Select a view to filter the documents listed in the register. |
| Find | Search for text in Proliance. Type the text that you're looking for in the text box at the top right of a Proliance page, and then click Find. Proliance searches every column for the text and then displays only the rows that contain the matching text. Click Reset to display all items for the view. |
