Getting Started with Proliance

The Proliance software suite provides a complete set of applications to manage all aspects of workspaces and portfolios. It manages the three critical aspects of a workspace:

Proliance has a powerful workflow engine that makes it easy to design and implement business logic that controls how documents are managed within the organization. With Proliance, you can configure, automate and enforce best practices and processes for every type of document.

With workflow automation, documents needing approval (such as change orders), action items (such as deficiency list items) and communications (such as RFIs) flow through the system following your custom-configured business rules. You can receive notices for action directly in Proliance or in your local email system. If you are a corporate user, you can manage and analyze your organization's work status at the corporate, workspace and portfolio level.

ClosedWork Areas

Proliance contains several unique work areas. Depending on your security permissions, you may only have access to some of these work areas.

ClosedNavigation trail

The navigation trail runs across the top of many Proliance pages. It shows you the hierarchy of topics related to the current topic. You can instantly return to a higher work area level by clicking its name on the navigation trail.

For example, if you are working in the ProjectOne workspace and you want to go to another workspace, click Programs & Projects. Proliance displays the Programs & Projects register, from which you can navigate to another workspace.

ClosedNavigation Menus

Navigation menus give you quick access to the registers available in the current work area. The navigation menu appear in the left-hand side of the browser window.
