File Management

You can attach various types of files to Proliance documents using several different methods, depending on your requirements.

Attach files to Proliance documents

You can upload and attach files to most Proliance documents using the Attach button and the Attachment tab. The Attach button appears in the top button bar when you display a document. After the first document is attached, the Attachment tab appears, displaying the number of attached files.

Drawings and Submittals

Like Catalog Cards, Drawing and Submittal documents are a specialized type of Proliance document that allow you to associate additional details about a set of file attachments.

A drawing or submittal is a specific type of catalog card that represents an object that can be circulated for review in a package.

Attaching Documents in SharePoint

Proliance also offers the Content Management functionality, which enables you to integrate with and browseContent Management systems (Currently Microsoft SharePoint is supported) from within the Proliance application.
