Creating a Schedule

Once you are ready to start planning and working on a workspace, you can create a schedule in Proliance.

All Schedule documents are created from a template that contains predetermined values. You can create a new Schedule based on the default template, or choose another one from the drop-down list. For more information, see "About Document Templates". These templates apply to the document only and do not apply to the planning objects that are in a Gantt chart.

Your security role must have permission to create Schedules. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

To create a schedule

  1. Open the Schedule register.
  2. Click New to create a new Schedule using the default template.
  3. — or —

    Click the arrow next to New to select the template to use. For more information, see "About Document Templates".

    A blank Schedule appears. Some information may already be filled in, depending on the template used.

  4. In the Title field, type a title for the schedule.
  5. If you are going to perform a workflow action, type the information required for this action. For more information, see "Schedule Workflow Actions" for a list of preconditions for a specific action.
  6. Complete any additional required information. Headings marked with an asterisk (*) or highlighted fields are required. For more information, see "About Required Fields".
  7. Please refer to the following for more information on the fields for each page:

  8. Click Save.
  9. Proliance saves the document.
