By default, Proliance automatically creates offsetting cost allocations for each budget allocation. If you did not enable this automatic offset feature or if you wish to adjust the offsets, you can manage the budget offsets for yourself.
While in the edit mode on the Cost Account - Line Items page, select a row and then click the "Manage Offsets" button.
The following table summarizes the actions available while managing budget offsets.
When managing budget offsets, you can… | Click |
---|---|
Add an offset. You can use any existing cost allocation that is not currently offsetting any other budget allocation. |

Remove an offset. The offsetting cost allocation that is removed can be used to offset another budget allocation. |

Change the settings that Proliance uses to determine the offsets. |
|
Exit the budget offsets mode. |
Return |
Select another budget allocation to view its offsetting cost allocations. |
