Proliance gives you the flexibility to create different types of invoices. The default state of a new invoice is Pending. The book type is always the same as that of the invoice's contract.

Your security role must have permission to create invoices and to read contracts. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

Tip:

  • You can also create new expense invoices directly from the Expense Invoice dialog box. This is useful when the invoice that you need to select does not appear in the dialog box.

Note:

  • You can also create an invoice based on information not currently in Proliance. For example, you receive an invoice in paper form, or if you are preparing an invoice on behalf of someone who is not a Proliance user. For more information, see "Manually Adding an Invoice".

  • Once you create an invoice for an expense contract, you cannot enable or disable BCM integration for that contract. For more information, see "Enabling/Disabling BCM in Proliance".
