Excluding Days from a Calendar

You can adjust any calendar to exclude days from the list of working days. For example, exclude statutory holidays, vacation days, etc. You can also adjust the working hours for any day in the calendar. Your security role must have permission to update calendars. Excluding days in a calendar may affect other calendars:

To exclude days or change the working hours

  1. Open the Calendars register.

  2. Select the calendar to edit.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Select the Daily Exceptions page.
  5. Select the days to exclude.
  6. You select multiple contiguous dates by holding the Shift key down while clicking. You select multiple discontiguous dates by holding the Ctrl key down while clicking.

  7. Select Non-Working to turn the days into non-working days.

    Select Working and then modify the Start and Finish times for the days. You can enter up to five work hour ranges per day.

    Enter the working hours for that day in the format:

    hh:mm [am|pm]

    For example, "10:00 am" or "12:45 pm". You can omit the :mm portion if mm is zero. For example, "2 pm" and "2:00 pm" are the same.

  9. Click Apply.
  10. Proliance updates the calendar as appropriate.
