RFI Workflow Actions

While in edit mode, Proliance displays at the top of the page the workflow action recommended by the sender of the document. You can use the "Workflow" button to change or select an action if none was recommended. For more information, see "Performing a Workflow Action".

Preconditions

Submit Question

You have finished entering the RFI question. You can also send it to a workspace user by selecting the user when you perform a workflow action.

The RFI is in Pending Question state.

You have entered all the required information.

You are a contact of the company that is sending the RFI question.

Question Submitted

 

Submit Answer

Click this action after you have entered an answer to the question.

The RFI is in a Question Submitted state.

You are a contact of the company that received the RFI question or you have security permission.

You have been requested to respond to this RFI.

Answer Submitted

 

Start Review An Answer Source Contact with a valid account must be selected (Answer section, Main page) In Review

Submit Clarification

Clarify the RFI question.

The RFI is in a Pending Question Clarification state.

You are a contact of the company that sent the RFI question or you have security permission.

Question Submitted

Submit Clarification

Clarify the RFI answer.

The RFI is in a Pending Answer Clarification state.

You are a contact of the company that received the RFI question or you have security permission.

Answer Submitted

Close

Finish and close an RFI if all the questions in the RFI have been answered and accepted.

Your security role contains security permission to close the RFI.
