Creating a Transfer

You can create a transfer document that holds budget transfer items, cost transfer items, or both.

In order to transfer a budget amount, you need create two or more new budget allocations. The transfer document controls these budget allocations. For more information, see "Transferring Budget Amounts".

In order to transfer a cost amount, you need to move the money between two or more cost allocations that already exist in at least two different cost accounts. For more information, see "Transferring Cost Amounts".

Tip:

  • When you enter a Total Transfer Amount with no allocation present, Proliance automatically creates new allocations in the "From" and "To" grids for you.
