The Main page of a change order contains detailed information about the change order, including a summary of the most important information from all of the change order's pages. The page also includes information about the impact of the change order on the contract.
The information is grouped under the following sections. The change order needs to be in edit mode before you can modify the fields.
The date on which the invoice was approved
by someone.
The Awarding company responsible
for handling queries about the change order. You can edit the Awarding
Company under the Legal Parties
section.
A check mark indicates that BCM integration is enabled for the change
order. The change order always has the same setting as its associated
contract. Note: This field is
visible only if BCM has been enabled in the workspace. For more information,
see "Enabling/Disabling
BCM Integration".
By default, Proliance makes this the date on which someone first saved
the change order. You can edit the Change
Order Date under the Dates
section.
The currency of the contract to which the change order applies. You
can only edit the contract currency from the contract's Settings page.
The current state of
the change order.
The number of holds currently
against this change order. If there are holds, see the Holds tab for details.
This specifies whether invoicing against the change order is allowed.
You can turn this option on or off on the Settings page. Note:
A change order must be out of the Draft
state before Invoicing Allowed
shows a check mark, even if invoicing has been turned on in the Settings page.
The maximum currency amount for any single invoice against the change
order. You can change this limit on the Settings page.
The date when someone allowed invoicing against the change order by
selecting Invoicing Allowed.
The change order number. You can edit the number
under the Details section.
The name of the contract that the change order applies to. You can click
on the name to view details about the contract.
The Receiving Company responsible
for handling queries about the change order. You can edit the Receiving
Company under the Legal Parties
section.
This number indicates the order in which the change order was approved
in relation to the contract's other approved change orders. If the change
order is not approved, the Sequence
Number is blank. You cannot edit this number.
The title of the change order. You can edit the Title
under the Details section of
the Main
page.
The Project section displays a simplified version of the information available on the Projects tab. Use this section to quickly view a list of projects currently linked to the document, and to create, read and delete project links in edit mode. Information displayed in the project section is also available on the Projects tab, and any changes you make in the Project section is synchronized with the Projects tab.

Using the Project section, you can set the current document's project linking status to:
Select to remove all project links for the current document. You can only remove project links if you have the appropriate role security permissions, and your contact document has a link to the same projects.
Select to display a box where you can enter a single project link for the current document. Click the Magnifying Glass icon
Select to display a box where you can enter multiple project links for the current document. Click the Magnifying Glass icon
Select to link the current document to all projects within the current workspace.
The current status of project linking is displayed in the section header so that you can quickly scan project status with all the sections on the Main page collapsed. The document must be in edit mode before you can update information in the Project section.
The current state of
the change order.
Type the title of the change order. You can sort change orders by title
in the Change
Orders register. The Title is required.
Type a string of characters that uniquely identifies this change order,
or leave it blank if Proliance is configured to supply one. You can configure
the format of this number by using Proliance
Local Admin. For details, refer to "Editing the Number Format"
in the Proliance Local Admin on-line help.
The name of the contract to which
the change order applies.
From the drop-down list, select a code that best describes the reason for
this change order document.
If necessary, you can select a secondary reason code from this drop-down
list.
Enter the amount of money currently approved for the change order.
Enter the number of additional days that have been requested but not
yet approved for implementing the change order.
Briefly describe the scope of work involved in the contract. This may
include a description of the work, references to contract documents, or
references to inclusions, exclusions, and alternates.

The name of the first invoice to which someone added the change order.
You cannot edit this.
Enter the date when the change order was created.
Proliance automatically inserts the current date, but you can change it
if necessary.
Enter the date when someone sent
the "notice to proceed" to the receiving company.
Enter the date when the contract was approved.
The date by which the creator of the contract expected that progress
against all of the contract's line items would be 100%. You cannot edit
this date.
The number of calendar days added to or deducted from the original number
of calendar days allowed by the contract. You cannot edit this number.
The Original Substantial Completion
Date plus the Prev Approved Change
Days. You cannot edit this date.
Enter the number of days that this change order is adding or deducting
from the current number of days allowed by the contract. If the change
order has not been approved,
this is the same as the Requested Days.
If the change order has been approved, this is the same as the
change order's Approved Days.
The Substantial Completion Date Prior
to This Change plus or minus the This
Change Days value. If this is the most recent change order in the
sequence, this is the same as the Current
Substantial Completion Date on the contract's Main
page. You cannot edit this date.
The name of the Awarding, Receiving,
or Managing company. You
can click the link to view the company
document.
The person from the Awarding,
Receiving, or Managing
company responsible for handling queries about the contract. The person
must be listed in your workspace's Contacts
register. You can click the link to view the contact
document.
Proliance will add the name of the Awarding or Receiving contact to the appropriate recipient fields (To:, CC:, HCC:) in the Workflow tab during a pending state change, if this change order document subtype has been set up to use initiating and receiving participants. To learn more about the participants feature, see "Selecting Roles or Participants" in the Proliance Local Admin on-line help.
The Awarding, Receiving, and Managing companies are the three legal participants that every Proliance contract has. You select these companies from your workspace's Companies register.
The company responsible for issuing the contract. This information is
required for approval of the change order.
The company responsible for managing the contract.
The company responsible for ensuring that the work described in the
contract is performed. This information is required for approval of the
change order.
This section lists the signatures required for the change order. To add a signature, click Add Line and then complete the fields below. To remove a signature, select the check box next to the line to remove and then click Remove Line(s).
Click the Magnifying Glass icon
If the person whose signature is required is not in the Contacts
register, you can type the person's name here.
Select the status of the person's signature from the drop-down list.
"Signed" indicates that the Required
person's signature has been received.
Select the type of signature expected from the Required
person.
Enter the date when the Required
person signed the change order.
