Creating a New Contract History Entry

You can add to a company's contract history at any time. By adding historical documents to a company record, you help to ensure that the people responsible for awarding new contracts can evaluate all aspects of a company’s past performance.

To add a new contract history entry, your security role must have permission to create contract history. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

To create a contract history entry

  1. Open the Contract History tab for the company receiving the bond.

  2. The list of contract history entries for the company appears.

  3. Click New to create a new contract history entry using the default template.
  4. — or —

    Click the arrow next to New to choose another template. For more information, see "About Document Subtypes".

    A blank contract history document appears. Some information may already be filled in, depending on the template used.

  5. In the Contract Number field, type the number of the contract involved in the history document.
  6. If you are performing a workflow action on the contract history, complete the information required for this action. For more information, see "Contract History Workflow Actions" for a list of preconditions for a specific action.
  7. Complete any other necessary information for the document. Headings marked with an asterisk (*) or highlighted fields are required. For more information, see "About Required Fields".

  10. Proliance saves the page. Click Exit Edit Mode when done.
