About the Transmittal Reports

Proliance transmittal reports are an extension of normal Proliance print functionality enabling you to analyze your transmittals. Reports allow you to print a list of transmittals grouped by either Company, Contract or Drawing Series. Within these groupings, transmittals are then sorted according to the default sort values defined in the applied register view.

Any register view can be used with the transmittal reports. We recommend that you use the corresponding system Transmittal register views, which are specifically formatted for running transmittal reports.

You can view any of the reports by choosing the Reports option on the Transmittals register. For information on the report options, see "Reports Dialog Box". For more information on running a report, see "Running a Transmittal Report".

Customizing Views for Transmittal Reports

You can also create custom views by copying a system view, allowing you to add or remove fields displayed in the transmittal report. When creating the custom view, ensure that the field by which you wish to group (i.e., Company, Contract or Drawing Revision) is specified as the first sorting field. Other sort values may be used to organize transmittals beneath the heading. For more information, see "Register Views - Sorting".
