Planning Objects - Advanced Tab

Select a Project for the planning object to link to. Summary Task objects cannot be linked to Projects. This field does not display unless at least one Projecthas been created in the current workspace.

Displays a list of WBS codes which you can assign to this planning object. For more information about WBS codes, see "About WBS Codes".

Task Calendar

• Late Start: Displays the latest possible date a planning object can start without delaying the schedule's finish. This date is based on the planning object's late finish date, as well as the late start and late finish dates of predecessor and successor planning objects, and other constraints. This date is calculated from CPM and is not editable.
• Late Finish: Displays the latest possible date a planning object can finish without delaying the schedule's finish. This date is based on the planning object's late start date, as well as the late start and late finish dates of predecessor and successor planning objects, and other constraints. This date is calculated from CPM and is not editable.
• Critical: Indicates that a planning object must be finished. If not finished, the delay will affect the scheduled finish date. This is calculated from CPM and is not editable.
• Slack: Displays the amount of time a task can slip before it affects another task's dates or the schedule finish date. When the total slack is negative, the task duration is too long for its successor to begin on the scheduled date. This is calculated from CPM and is not editable.
