Following a Link

The Follow Link button can be used to step back or forward link by link to locate planning objects. This feature is useful for viewing predecessor tasks responsible for a delay or for viewing upcoming tasks. You can also use this feature to identify any problems between the links.

To follow links

  1. Open the Gantt.
  2. Right-click a planning object and select Edit Links.

    3. The Edit Links dialog box appears.

  3. Click the Predecessor or Successor tab.
  4. Click Follow Link.

    5. Proliance takes you to the linked planning object.

  5. Click Follow Link again to continue following the links.
