Providing Feedback on a Package

If you have been selected as a reviewer in a review process, Proliance will deliver a notice to the Received register of your My Notices menu when it's your turn to review. Opening the notice displays the drawing or submittal package to be reviewed. At the right of the package is a "sticky note" that provides the following information:

You can only provide feedback on packages in the In Review workflow state.

ClosedTo provide feedback on a package

  1. Open the Received register.
  2. Select the notice that you've received.
  3. The drawing or submittal package to be reviewed appears.

  4. Click the Reviewer Feedback page.
  5. This page displays any feedback already entered by the other reviewers.

  6. Click Edit.
  7. The page enters the edit mode.

  8. Select your name from the Reviewer drop-down list.
  9. This list is sorted by the step to which each reviewer is assigned. A reviewer can only be assigned to one step in a package's review process.

  10. Optionally click the title of each document in the package to see detailed information about that document.
  11. Click in the Recommendation column and choose a recommendation for each item.
  12. For more information on each recommendation, see "About the Reviewer Feedback Page".

  13. Optionally enter a Review Comment.
  14. Click Finish Review when done.
  15. Proliance sends a notice about the package to the next reviewer on the list.

The date when you finish your review is your Actual Finish Date and it also becomes the Actual Start Date for the next user in the review process.

Tip:

  • If you know that you will be reviewing a package, you can actually begin entering recommendations as soon as the package enters the In Review state. However, Proliance will not allow you to click the "Finish Review" button until it is your turn in the review process.

Note:

  • Your recommendations do not actually change the state of the documents within the package—they simply help the managing contact gauge the overall feedback. This managing contact has the final say over each item in the package when he or she completes the package.
