Drawing/Submittal Package Workflow States

Each revision of a drawing or submittal package can have a different state. The state indicates where the package is in its life cycle in Proliance. When you perform workflow actions on the package, the state of the package changes accordingly.

Note: The managing contact is the user responsible for the package throughout its life cycle. You indicate the managing contact in the Parties category on the Main page of the package.

  State Description

1

Draft

The package is created but has not been submitted for review. Drawings or submittals and a review process may be added to the package, but it is not mandatory at this stage.

For more information, see "Creating a Drawing/Submittal Package".

2

Submitted

The package is submitted to the managing contact for acceptance. Drawings or submittals and a review process may be defined for the package, but it is not mandatory at this stage.

For more information, see "Submitting a Drawing/Submittal Package".

3

In Review

The managing contact is satisfied with the contents of the package and has initiated the review process.

At least one drawing or submittal must be added, a managing company and managing contact must be selected, and a review process must be defined before a package can reach this state. The managing contact must also have a valid account.

For more information, see "Starting the Review Process".

4

Completed

The package has finished its circulation and the managing contact has set a final state for the package and its contents.

For more information, see "Completing a Drawing/Submittal Package".
