The RFI Issue's Main page contains a general description of the RFI Issue, a list of linked RFIs, and a summary of the linked RFI's cost, schedule and classification impact.
These attributes are grouped under the following sections. The RFI Issue needs to be in edit mode before you can modify the fields.
Indicates the current state of the RFI Issue, the next expected
action and the state the document will be if the user follows the expected
action. For more information, see "About
RFI state".
Type a short and descriptive summary of the topic under discussion.
Type a string of characters that uniquely identifies this
RFI Issue, or leave it blank if Proliance is configured to supply one.
You can configure
the format of this number by using Proliance
Local Admin. For details, refer to the Proliance Local Admin on-line help.
Type a brief description of the RFI Issue.
Select from the drop-down list the RFI Issue's priority. This
priority is a categorization for your company's purposes—it does not affect
how Proliance handles the document.
The Project section displays a simplified version of the information available on the Projects tab. Use this section to quickly view a list of projects currently linked to the document, and to create, read and delete project links in edit mode. Information displayed in the project section is also available on the Projects tab, and any changes you make in the Project section is synchronized with the Projects tab.

Using the Project section, you can set the current document's project linking status to:
Select to remove all project links for the current document. You can only remove project links if you have the appropriate role security permissions, and your contact document has a link to the same projects.
Select to display a box where you can enter a single project link for the current document. Click the Magnifying Glass icon
Select to display a box where you can enter multiple project links for the current document. Click the Magnifying Glass icon
Select to link the current document to all projects within the current workspace.
The current status of project linking is displayed in the section header so that you can quickly scan project status with all the sections on the Main page collapsed. The document must be in edit mode before you can update information in the Project section.
This section lists all the RFIs that are linked to this RFI Issue. To view the RFI, click on the link.
Enter in this section a summary of the cost impact that the RFI discussions linked to this RFI Issue have on the workspace. The following fields describe the cost impact:
Select from the drop-down list whether RFIs linked to this RFI Issue
have a cost impact. There are three choices: 'Yes', 'No' and 'Unknown'.
'No' is the default choice.
Enter the estimated cost impact that all the RFIs linked to this RFI
Issue have on the workspace.
Type additional information on the type of cost impact that linked RFIs
have on the workspace.
Displays a read-only calculated total based on the linked RFI.
Enter in this section a summary of the schedule impact that RFI discussions linked to this RFI Issue have on the workspace. The following fields describe the schedule impact:
Indicates whether RFIs linked to this RFI Issue have a schedule impact.
There are three choices: 'Yes', 'No' and 'Unknown'. 'No' is the default
choice.
Select from the drop-down list the type of impact this RFI Issue has on the
workspace. There are two choices: calendar days or work days.
Indicates the estimated delay in days that the RFIs in this RFI Issue
may have on the workspace.
Displays comments related to the schedule impact.
The total number of days that the RFI discussions linked to this RFI
have on the workspace.
The area or zone that is being discussed in this RFI Issue. The list
of areas or zones can be customized using Resource Manager.
The category that best describes this RFI. The list of categories can
be customized using the Proliance Local Admin application.
The discipline to which this RFI Issue belongs. Examples of discipline
include: Architectural, Engineering, and Civil. The list of disciplines
can be customized using the Proliance Local
Admin application.
