Holds – Hold Source

The Holds Source page of a hold lists the documents that are the source of the hold, if any. These documents provide a reason why a hold is necessary. For example, you list an insurance document as a source document, with the instructions stating that all held documents cannot be released until the insurance policy is renewed.

You do not have to specify a source document for every hold, but it helps serve as a reminder as to when the hold should be lifted. You can specify as many source documents as required.
