Adding a Limit

In the Limits of Authority document, you can add any number of limits for a workspace's cost-related documents, and even multiple limits for the same document and state. The limits you add apply only to the current workspace.

Before adding a new limit, be sure you are familiar with the process of limiting authority and the differences between limiting each document type. Remember that when you create limits for a particular document/state combination, only the roles defined in your limits can then perform that state transition.

To add a limit of authority, your security role must have permission to update Limits of Authority. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".
