The Catalog Cards register lists all the catalog cards used in the Organization work area or within a workspace.
There are two modes for viewing catalog cards in the Catalog Cards register:
You can switch between these modes by clicking the folder icon representing the folder hierarchy view mode, or by clicking My Documents.
Folder Hierarchy Mode
In folder hierarchy mode, the Catalog Card register groups catalog cards in a folder structure similar to Windows Explorer. Click a folder in the navigation menu or the main register pane to view its contents. For each catalog card in the folder, register columns are displayed according to the current view.
The banner above the catalog card register displays a breadcrumb trail that shows the path that you have taken to arrive at that folder. Using the breadcrumb trail you can track your relative position in the folder hierarchy. You can also display the contents of folders higher in the folder hierarchy by clicking on the folder links in the breadcrumb trail.
If your security role includes the Manage Folders permissions for Catalog Cards, you can create, modify and delete catalog card folders using the buttons available in the Catalog Card register. If your security role includes the Move permission for Catalog Cards, you can move folders and catalog cards to other places in the folder hierarchy. For more information on permissions for managing catalog cards and folders, see "Permissions for Catalog Cards Folders".
My Documents Mode
In My Documents mode, the Catalog Card register displays a simple list of all catalog card documents you have access to, regardless as to how the catalog card documents are organized in the folder hierarchy mode. You cannot create, edit or delete catalog cards while in My Documents mode. For each catalog card, register columns are displayed according to the current view.
Specialized Commands in the Catalog Card Register
The following table lists the specialized commands available on the Catalog Cards register.
