Removing a Drawdown

You can remove a drawdown regardless of whether it is locked or unlocked. When you remove a drawdown, Proliance reverses any changes to the value of the allocation that was used to fund the drawdown.

Important: Once you remove a drawdown, it cannot be restored.

 To remove a drawdown

  1. Open any of the following registers: (Expense) pre-commit Contracts, (Expense) Change Orders, (Expense) auto-commit Invoices, or Cost Events.
  2. Select the document that contains the drawdown to remove.
  3. Click either the Schedule of Values or Line Items page.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. On the upper grid, select the line item for which you want to remove the linked drawdown.
  6. The allocations that the line item controls are displayed in the lower grid.

  7. On the lower grid, select the allocation that contains the drawdown to be removed.
  8. In the DD Line Number column, click the Magnifying Glass icon The magnifying glass icon..
  9. The BCM Line Item dialog box appears.

  10. Click Remove next to the line item in the dialog box and then click OK to close the dialog box.
  11. Click Save.
  12. Proliance removes the drawdown. All information about the allocation remain unchanged except for the Amount column, which is updated to reflect the removal of the drawdown.
