About the Conflict Resolution Wizard

The Conflict Resolution Wizard helps you process a document that has unresolved conflicts. This wizard starts as soon as you select a notice in either the Unresolved register or the Rejected registers.

The wizard displays the following information about the document:

• Conflict Summary: A brief description of the conflict.  
• Conflict Type: The conflict that is preventing Proliance from processing the document. If more than one conflict was detected, Proliance reports "multiple conflicts" and describes each in the Conflict Summary.
• Document: The name and number of the document containing the conflicts.

• Imported from: The name of the person and his/her company who sent the document.  

• Imported on: The date and time when Proliance initially attempted to process the document.  
• Subject: The title of the held document.

Follow the directions in the wizard to process the document. You may be asked to supply missing information, or you may be alerted to actions that the wizard will take to attempt to correct the conflict.

After Using the Wizard

If you were able to resolve the conflict with the assistance of the wizard, the document appears within Proliance as per normal. If you were unable to resolve the conflict, the notice remains in the Unresolved or Rejected registers. You can run the wizard again to attempt another corrective action, or you can reject the document with the conflict.
