Copying a Calendar

Often, the quickest way to create a new calendar is to copy an existing calendar. The copy is an exact duplicate of the original calendar, except for the Title and Number. There is no relation between the original and copy—changes to one do not affect the other.

You can copy a calendar in any state and from any work area. The copied calendar always resides in the same work area as the original.

To copy a calendar

  1. Open the Calendars register from the appropriate work area.
  2. Open the calendar to copy.
  3. Choose Options > Copy to New.
  4. Proliance creates a new copy of the calendar.

  5. Make the necessary modifications to the new calendar. Please refer to the following for more information on the fields for each page:
  6. Headings marked with an asterisk (*) are required. All other headings are optional.

  7. Click Save.
  8. Proliance saves the page.

  9. Click Exit Edit Mode when done.

Tip:

  • Copy a calendar if you need to make changes to an imported organization calendar.
