About Resources

The Resource document enables you to create resources and link these resources to tasks in the Gantt chart. You can also associate a contact with a resource in the Resource document. When a contact is not associated with a resource, the resource is a generic resource. Generic resources are useful for denoting material resources.

Resource information is organized on the following pages:

• Main: Contains the name and settings for the resource. For more information, see "Resource - Main".
• Properties: Contains the attributes of the document, such as the author of the document and the date in which it was created. For more information, see "Document Properties".

Additional resource information is also available on the following tabs:

• Project: Lists the projects the document is linked to. For more information, see "About the Projects Tab"

• Workflow: Enables you to see where the document is in its lifecycle, who has already performed actions on the document, and who will receive notification when the document changes to a specific state. For more information, see "About the Workflow Tab".
• Activity Log: Records all the activities of the Schedule, such as when it was saved, imported, exported, forwarded, or received. For more information, see "Activity Log Tab".
• Attachments: Contains a list of all the documents related to this schedule. For more information, see "Attachments Tab".
