Deleting Review Steps

You can delete review steps in a document that has not yet been circulated for review (in other words, the document has a state of Draft or Submitted).

To delete review steps

  1. Open the document, package, form or template form register.
  2. Select the document containing the review steps to edit.
  3. Click the Review Steps page or the Review Process page.
  4. The review steps for the document appear.

  5. Click Edit.
  6. The page enters the edit mode.

  7. Select the row to be deleted.
  8. You select a row by clicking the cell to the left of the Step Number column.

  9. Click Remove.
  10. The row is deleted; the step numbers remain unchanged.

  11. Recalculate the "original planned" dates.
  12. Removing a step may cause a "gap" in the original planned dates. You can either manually correct the dates or you can have Proliance recalculate the dates for you. For more information, see "Calculating Start and Finish Dates".

Note:

  • Proliance does not renumber the steps after a removal. If you want, you can manually change the step numbers; however, gaps in the steps will not affect the routing of the document.
