Deleting a Standard Plan

You can delete any standard plan that is not in an Active state and which has not yet been used to create plans. Your security role must have permission to delete standard plans. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

You can delete a standard plan from either of the following places:

To delete a standard plan

  1. Open the Standard Plans register from the appropriate work area.
  2. Note that if a standard plan appears in both the Organization and Workspaceswork areas (that is, it was created from the Organization work area and then copied to one or more workspaces), deleting it from one work area does not delete the standard plan from the other work area.

  3. Select the check box next to the standard plan to delete and click Delete.
  4. — or —

Select the standard plan and click Delete .

  5. Click Yes when prompted to confirm.

Proliance deletes the standard plan. Deleting a standard plan removes the links to the standard forms within that standard. The standard forms themselves are unaffected.

Tip:

  • Instead of deleting a standard plan, you may wish to simply deactivate it. This changes the state of the standard plan to Inactive, which allows you to reactivate it later or to permanently delete it if you choose.  For more information, see "Standard Plan Workflow Actions".

Note:

  • If you need to delete a standard plan that is currently supporting plans in use, you must delete all the plans first. For more information, see "Deleting a Plan".
