Making a Copy of a Workspace Summary

You may wish to update a workspace summary by making a copy of it. You can make a copy of a summary before or after it has been released to the organization. This copy can then be either sent to the organization or added to a collection. Note that the original workspace summary is not modified.

Creating a workspace summary in the organizationwork area is reserved for users with security permissions, which may include executives and managers. To create a workspace summary in the workspaces work area, see "Generating a Workspace Summary".

To create a copy of an existing workspace summary

  1. Open the Workspace Summaries register.
  2. Select a workspace summary.
  3. Click Options > Make a Copy.
  4. Proliance creates a copy of the current document. The new workspace summary is labeled as a "copy of" the existing one. You can rename this if necessary. The workspace summary copy is in Draft state.

  5. Click Edit.
  6. Enter the new information in the fields provided. Please refer to the following for more information on the fields for each page:
