Downloading File Attachments

Proliance provides several features to allow you to quickly download file attachments from catalog cards, drawings, or submittals:

ClosedTo batch download attachments

  1. Open either the Catalog Cards, Drawings, or Submittals register.
  2. In the Open As drop-down list, select either Source File, Presentation File, Brava! - Source File, or Brava! - Presentation File.

    3. Proliance updates the register to show only those documents that have either a source or presentation file attachment, depending on your selection.

  3. Select the check box next to each document from which you are downloading the file attachment.
  4. From the Tools menu, select Batch Download.

    5. Proliance prompts you to Open or Save the attachment. This repeats for each selected document.

ClosedTo download attachments as a zip file

  1. Open either the Catalog Cards, Drawings, or Submittals register.
  2. In the Open As drop-down list, select either Source File or Presentation File.

    3. Proliance updates the register to show only those documents that have either a source or presentation file attachment, depending on your selection.

  3. Select the check box next to each document from which you are downloading the file attachment.
  4. From the Tools menu, select Download Zip File.

    5. Proliance adds all the attachments to a compressed folder and prompts you to Open or Save it.

Note:

  • You can download only files that are attached to the catalog card, drawing, or submittal. You cannot download files that are being referenced by a URL.
