Active Hold Dialog Box
Proliance displays the Active
Hold dialog box when you attempt to perform an action
on a document that triggers
a hold that has been placed against the document.
This dialog box displays the following information for each
hold:
- Number:
The identifier for the hold. If you are a staff
member of the company controlling the hold, you can click the ID to
view the hold details.
- Message:The message that was entered by the creator of the hold. This message
usually describes why the hold is necessary.
- Type:The type of
the hold: Warning or Stop Action.
Your available options depend on the type of hold that was
triggered and your security permissions:
- For
warning holds: You can click Continue to continue
processing the document. If you do not want to continue processing in
light of the hold warning, click OK
to dismiss the dialog box without continuing to process.
- For
stop action holds:
You must click OK to acknowledge
the hold and dismiss the dialog box. The hold will be lifted only if the
hold conditions are addressed and someone with the authority releases
the hold.
