Deleting a Certification

You can delete certification information from a company defined in either the Organization or Workspaces work area if the certification is no longer held by the company or is no longer relevant to a workspace. To delete certification information, your security role in the appropriate work area must have permission to delete certifications. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

You can delete a certification from either of the following places:

Note: Deleting a certification from the Organization work area does not remove it from any workspaces to which it was added.

To delete a certification

  1. Open the Certifications tab of the appropriate company.

  2. Select the check box next to the certifications you wish to delete and click Delete.

  3. — or —

    Open the certification document you wish to delete and click Delete The delete button..

  4. Click Yes when Proliance prompts you to confirm.

The certification is deleted.

Tip:

  • Instead of deleting a certification, you may wish to simply deactivate it. This changes the state of the certification to Inactive, which allows you to reactivate it later or to permanently delete it if you choose. For more information, see "Certification Workflow Actions".
