The Certification document can have several states in Proliance. Each state indicates where the document is in its life cycle in Proliance. When you perform workflow actions on the document, the state of the document changes accordingly.
State | Description | |
---|---|---|
1 |
Draft |
A new certification document is still in progress. It is not yet complete nor ready for activation. For more information, see "Creating a New Certification". |
2 |
Pending Activation |
The certification document has been submitted for review and activation. It can also indicate that a user is attempting to reactivate an inactive certification document. |
3 |
Active |
The responsible user has activated the certification document. The typical certification document remains in this state for most of its life cycle. |
4 |
Inactive |
The responsible user has deactivated the certification document for whatever reason. The document is still present in the database, but is unavailable for use. You can reactivate an inactive certification document at any time. This places the document back into the Pending Activation state. |
