The Main page of a calendar records the name and number of the calendar and the standard working hours for each day of the week for that calendar. If you need to enter exceptions to the working time, use the Daily Exceptions page.
Information about the calendar is grouped under the following sections. The calendar needs to be in edit mode before you can modify the fields.
The Summary section groups pertinent information from the other sections on the page. All information shown here is for display only.

of the calendar.
The title of the calendar. You can edit this in the Details

A string of characters that uniquely identifies the calendar within
the workspace. You can edit the number in the Details

Use this section to quickly view a list of projects currently linked to the document, and to create, read and delete project links in edit mode. Information displayed in the project section is also available on the Projects tab, and any changes you make in the Project section is synchronized with the Projects tab.

This setting is available for calendars created within
the workspace only. Optionally, click the magnifying glass icon
and select a base calendar

the document.
You can also clear or replace the base calendar.

An area to enter additional information on this document.
The name for the specific portion of the workspace with which the document
is associated. For example, the "Civic Center" workspace consists
of five large buildings. Each building is a sub project.
The Work Week section lets you define the standard working hours for each day of the week. If a base calendar has been selected in the Details section, you can synchronize any day with the working times defined in the base calendar.
Note: Only workspace calendars can be linked to a base calendar.
Complete the following for each day of the week:
Use Base Calendar:
For workspace calendars, select this check box to synchronize the working hours for this work day with the same day in the base calendar. The synchronization will occur when you save the calendar. Clear this check box to break the link with the base calendar, if you want to manually enter working times.
Note: Do not manually enter any working times if you are using a base calendar—the synchronization process will discard any manually entered work times.
Organization calendars do not use base calendars and the setting for this check box will always show an 'x'.
Proliance automatically displays "Day is working" or "Day
is not working" depending on whether any working hours have been
defined for the day. You cannot edit this information.
Working Times Start/Finish:
For organization calendars or for workspace calendars not using a base calendar on that particular day, enter the working hours for that day in the format:
hh:mm [am|pm]
For example, "10:00 am" or "12:45 pm". You can omit the :mm portion if mm is zero. For example, "2 pm" and "2:00 pm" are the same. You can enter up to five work hour ranges per day.
You can also use the following actions:
For a workspace calendar that is using a base calendar for that day, leave all the Start and Finish fields blank and do not modify any information in these fields. Proliance will synchronize the working times with the base calendar when you save the calendar.
