Calendar - Daily Exceptions

The Daily Exceptions page of a calendar is used to enter exceptions to the standard work hours defined on the Main page. Examples of exceptions that you will enter include:

The Daily Exceptions page displays your calendar in the standard calendar format, six months at a time. Several visual cues are used to help you quickly identify which dates contain exceptions:

Beneath each month is a summary showing the number of working days and working hours available in that month.

ClosedTo set an exception

  1. Select the days to change.
  2. You select multiple contiguous dates by holding the Shift key down while clicking. You select multiple discontiguous dates by holding the Ctrl key down while clicking.

  3. Select Non-Working to turn the days into non-working days.
  4. —or—

    Select Working and then modify the Start and Finish times for the days. You can enter up to five work hour ranges per day.

    Enter the working hours for that day in the format:

    hh:mm [am|pm]

    For example, "10:00 am" or "12:45 pm". You can omit the :mm portion if mm is zero. For example, "2 pm" and "2:00 pm" are the same.

  5. Click Apply.
  6. Proliance updates the calendar as appropriate.

ClosedTo clear an exception

  1. Select the day(s) containing the exceptions to be cleared.
  2. You can select multiple contiguous dates by holding the Shift key down while clicking. You can select multiple discontiguous dates by holding the Ctrl key down while clicking.

  3. Select Clear Selected Exceptions.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Proliance removes the exceptions for the days and restores the standard working hours for each day, as defined on the Main page of the calendar.

Tip:

  • To quickly clear all exceptions in the calendar, select Clear All Exceptions > Apply.
