A calendar can have one of several states. Each state indicates the position of the document in terms of its life cycle. When you perform workflow actions on the document, the state of the document changes accordingly.

The calendar is still being developed and is not ready for active use. Draft calendars cannot be added nor imported into a workspace |

The calendar is in active use. |

Obsolete |
The calendar is obsolete and no longer applies. Obsolete calendars cannot be added nor imported into a workspace. They can be used as a base calendar however. |
