Bid Package Addenda - Main

The Summary section groups pertinent information from the other sections on the page. All information shown here is for display only.

• Current State: Indicates the current state of the package.
• Title: Displays the title of the package addendum. You can change the title in the Details section.
• Number: A string of characters that uniquely identifies the package addendum within the workspace. The first number in this sequence references the parent package number.
• Creation Date: Displays the date that work on the package addendum began.
• Bid Package: Indicates the package that the addendum is related to. Click the hyperlink to view the related package.

The Project section displays a simplified version of the information available on the Projects tab. Use this section to quickly view a list of projects currently linked to the document, and to create, read and delete project links in edit mode.

This section is read only and is synchronized with the parent package's project links.

Note: Like all other project-related user interface elements, the Projects section is hidden if no projects currently exist in the workspace.

• Title: Type the title of the package addenda. The title is copied to the generated invitation addenda.
• Number: Enter string of characters that uniquely identifies this package addendum. This number uses the following syntax:
  Bid package number (read-only)-segment 1-segment 2-segment 3
• Brief Description: Type a short description that describes the package addenda. This information is for internal use only and is not shared with bidders.
• Full Description: Type a detailed description of the package addendum. This information is for internal use only and is not shared with bidders.
• Notes: Type any additional information for the package addendum. This information is for internal use only and is not shared with bidders.
• Bid Manager: The contact person who is responsible for bidding in your company. By default, this field displays the bid manager identified in the related package. You can choose the contact in the Contact field and the associated company for the contact will be automatically entered in the Company field. Alternatively, you can select a company and then choose from a list of contacts for that company in the Contact field.
• Bid Coordinator: The person who will serve as the primary internal contact for the bidding process. By default, this field displays the bid coordinator identified in the related package. You can choose the contact in the Contact field and the associated company for the contact will be automatically entered in the Company field. Alternatively, you can select a company and then choose from a list of contacts for that company in the Contact field.

• Synopsis: Type a detailed description of the changes made to the package for this addendum. This text will appear in the invitation addenda document made available to bidders.

• Initiative: If this document was created in a workspace, this is the construction initiative to which the workspace belongs. If this document was not created in a workspace, you can optionally select a construction initiative name.
• Sub Project: The name for the specific portion of the workspace with which the document is associated. For example, the "Civic Center" workspace consists of five large buildings. Each building is a sub project.
• Classification Information 1-5: Use these five fields to enter classification information for this document. If you use assign a standard classification to your documents, you can use it to search or organize your documents according to these classifications.
• Classification Information Lookup 1-2: Select the user-defined values that define this document. These values are defined using Proliance Local Admin.
