You can either delete a tax or make it inactive. Inactive taxes are no longer included in lists of taxes and are not included in calculations or financial summaries. However, they may be kept for future use. Deleted taxes are permanently removed from Proliance and cannot be recovered. Deleting a tax does not affect the real tax on which it is based.
Your security role must have permission to delete taxes (Tax List). For more information, see "About Security Permissions".
Important: Do not delete (or make inactive) taxes that are currently used in the workspace. Deleting active taxes may alter the calculations that used this tax, it may affect the integration with other accounting systems, and it may impact any references to other workspaces.
To delete a tax
The Tax List appears in edit mode.
