Deleting an Activity Code Group

You can remove an activity code group from Proliance when it is no longer required, providing that your security role permits deleting of the appropriate document type. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

To delete an activity code group

  1. Open the Activity Code Group register.
  2. Select one or more activity code group documents that you wish to delete and click Delete.
  3. — or —

    Open the activity code group document and click Delete The delete button..

    Proliance prompts you to confirm the deletion.

  4. Click Yes to confirm.
  5. If planning objects in your schedule are assigned the advanced code of the activity code group you are deleting, Proliance prompts you to confirm the deletion again. Click Yes to confirm.
  6. Proliance removes the activity code group, as well as all planning objects in the Gantt that were assigned the advanced code of that code group.

Note:

  • Deleting a code group does not delete any activity codes. For more information, see "About Activity Codes".
  • If you delete an activity code group after you have assigned the group's advanced code to a planning object in the Gantt, Proliance also deletes all planning objects assigned to the advanced code.
