Deleting a Resource

You can delete resources from your workspace when they are no longer needed. Note that deleting a resource that is linked to planning objects removes this resource from the planning object and any time entered against the planning object for this resource.

Instead of deleting a resource, it is recommended that you make the resource inactive by changing its state to inactive. This is also useful if your resource has tasks assigned to it, but you do not want to make it available for any further work. For more information, see "Resource Workflow Actions".

Your security role must have permission to delete Resources. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

To delete a resource

1. Open the Resources register.
2. Select the check box next to the document that you wish to delete and click Delete.

Open the resource and click Delete .

The resource is deleted.
