Configuring Internal Cost

Use the following steps to configure your Internal Cost usage curves.

To configure Internal Cost usage curves

1. Open Usage Configuration.
2. Select from the following curves depending on what you want to display:
• Current Cost Internal: Select Current Cost Internal to display cost values for the current schedule using the internal cost rate or fixed cost values for Fixed Cost assignments.
• Current Actual Internal: Select Current Actual Internal to display cost for the current schedule using the internal cost rate or fixed cost values for Fixed Cost assignments.
• Current Remaining Internal: Select Current Remaining Internal to display cost for the current schedule using the internal cost rate or fixed cost values for Fixed Cost assignments.
• Approved Cost Internal: Select Approved Cost Internal to display the cost values for the approved schedule using the internal cost rate or fixed cost values for Fixed Cost assignments.
• Approved Actual Internal: Select Approved Actual Internal to display the actual cost values for the approved schedule using the internal cost rate or fixed cost values for Fixed Cost assignments.
• Approved Remaining Internal: Select Approved Remaining Internal to display the remaining cost values for the approved schedule using the internal cost rate or fixed cost values for Fixed Cost assignments.
• Approved Schedule Variance Internal:

  Select Approved Schedule Variance Internal to display the variance, calculated as

  Approved Cost  - (Actual Cost + Remaining Cost)

• Baseline Cost Internal: Select Baseline Cost Internal to display the cost values for the baseline schedule using the internal cost rate or fixed cost values for Fixed Cost assignments.  
• Baseline Actual Internal: Select Baseline Actual Internal to display the actual cost values for the baseline schedule using the internal cost rate or fixed cost values for Fixed Cost assignments.
• Baseline Remaining Internal: Select Baseline Remaining Internal to display the remaining cost values for the baseline schedule using the internal cost rate or fixed cost values for Fixed Cost assignments.
• Baseline Schedule Variance Internal:

  Select Baseline Schedule Variance Internal to display the variance, calculated as:

  Baseline Cost - (Actual Cost + Remaining Cost)

3. Click OK.
