Since every schedule must have a calendar, Proliance provides you with pre-set calendar for managing your schedule and calendars that you can customize. When a schedule does not have a customized calendar, the predefined calendar is used.
Calendars are integral to properly scheduling resources and tasks. While using planning objects in the Gantt, you can access the calendar to determine when the planning object should start and end.
This calendar is predefined with the work week set to five days, with eight hours in each day. The default working hours are 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. If your Default Planning Object Duration is set to more than eight hours in the Schedule document, the working hours are adjusted accordingly.
