When you use a custom print layout to print a custom report, there are no other options to choose: Proliance will print the report as it is defined by the layout file linked to the custom print layout.
When you print a standard report, you can choose the elements of each page to print (document reports) or the register columns to print (register reports). You can also specify what information to include in the report headers and footers.
Custom reports offer a consistent appearance and layout. They can be managed outside of Proliance. Standard reports are ad hoc: they allow you to choose different reporting elements each time since the report parameters are not saved between sessions.
